Principal sponsor Audi

Audi was the principal sponsor of the Nordic World Ski Championships held in Oberstdorf in February 2005. The 12-day event saw top athletes from around the world compete with one another. It was not all about times and distances for Audi though, because Audi knows that it's not just the winning that counts, but also the taking part.

Medals table

Against the backdrop of a true winter wonderland, the World Championships gave the sport of Nordic skiing a real publicity boost. Hundreds of volunteers made sure that the slopes and cross-country courses were perfectly prepared. A number of athletes sponsored by Audi also made it on to the winners’ rostrum at this well-organised competition.
