The Audi A1 features TFSI® technology. What makes it so special is that it combines the advantages of FSI® – efficiency and dynamics – with turbocharging that improves the power characteristics even more.
The sporty 1.4 TFSITFSIAudi was the first manufacturer in the world to combine petrol direct injection with turbocharging in large-scale car productionTFSI engine produces 90 kW (122 bhp) and has been designed with a high top speed and good fuel consumption values in mind. It powers the Audi A1 up to 203 km/h, with a torque of 200 Nm at 1,500 rpm. Its water-cooled intercooler is integrated into the intake manifold; this reduces the volume of the charge-air system and makes it more dynamic. Audi is one of the first manufacturers to combine the S tronicS tronicFaster gearshifts, sportier driving: the S tronic combines the sporty characteristics of a manual gearbox with the advantages of an automatic.S tronic with the start-stop system. Both systems are synchronised with each other; the A1 thus uses less fuel.
Fuel consumption and emissions data:
